Campers are levelized by swim ability and are placed in Red Cross Swimming classes for instruction. When the weather gets hot, campers have the opportunity to swim as many as four times a day!
Pinehurst has a great sailing program. Campers "learn the ropes" in O'Day sprites and experienced sailors get to fly the spinnaker in our Albacore or cruise the lake on our Hobie Cat!
On occasion the lake is even ravaged by the Camp Pinehurst Viking Ship. Have you ever been windsurfing? Pinehurst has several boards with a variety of different sized sails so that beginners and experts alike can have a blast!
Fishing is a popular elective activity that is offered almost every night. The Bass, Pickerel and Perch are always biting at Camp Pinehurst.
